- Escritura: This is the notarized title deed that confirms the ownership of the property and its description
- Nota Simple: This is a document provided by the property registry confirming that the seller is the rightful owner of the property and stating whether or not there are any outstanding debts
- Certificado de Eficiencia Energetica (CEE): This is a document that confirms the energy efficiency of the home and is mandatory when selling a home
- Cedula de Habitabilidad (Certificate of habitability): This is an official document indicating that a property meets the requirements of the local government
- Water and Energy: A copy of the latest bills for water and electricity
- IBI: Proof of payment of the property tax - IBI (Impuesto sobre Bienes muebles)
- NIE & passport: A copy of your Spanish identification number (NIE) and passport
